Long Jump and Triple Jump

Athletics Men and Women in the category of Long Jump and Triple Jump, officially selected the excellent Athletes

The ISU Intramurals 2023 also featured the athletics event, which tested the speed, strength, and endurance of the participants. The athletics event included the long jump and the triple jump categories, for both men and women. The participants had to jump as far as they could from a fixed point, landing on a sandpit. The distance of their jumps was measured and recorded by the ISU-AC faculty and staff, who ensured the fairness and safety of the event.

The athletics event was held on November 15, at the ISU-AC open field, where the participants had to compete against the weather conditions, as well as their opponents. The participants were divided into six teams, each representing a different course or program of the university: Polytechnic School - Blue Falcons, College of Criminal Justice Education - Red Wildcats, Information Technology - Purple Archers, College of Education - White Wolverine, Hospitality Management - Yellow Jaguars, and DAT- BAT- Green Fighters. The teams competed in a round-robin format, where each team had five representatives for each category.

The results of the winners of the athletics event were announced immediately after the event. The winners received medals, trophies, and certificates, as well as points for their program and college. The winners of the athletics event are:

- Long Jump Girls: Gold - DAT-BAT, Silver- CCJE, Bronze - CEd

- Long Jump Boys: Gold - BSIT, Silver- Polytechnic School, Bronze - Polytechnic School

- Triple Jump Girls: Gold - DAT-BAT, Silver - CCJE, Bronze- CCJE

- Triple Jump Boys: Gold- Polytechnic School, Silver - BSIT, Bronze - CCJE

Congratulations to all the winners and participants of the athletics event! You have shown your skills, strength, and endurance in every jump. You have also shown your support for the SDGs and the ISU community. You have made us proud and inspired. You are all champions in our own way!
